Oxford could be boosted by the return of winger Ricky Holmes to the bench for their match against Rochdale at the Kassam Stadium.
The 31-year-old winger has suffered back problems throughout his career and was rested against Forest Green and Bradford after a recurrence of the injury.
Luke Garbutt could also be pushing for a place in the starting line-up after he came off the bench against Bradford following a hamstring injury.
Defender Tony McMahon (ribs), midfielder Shandon Baptiste (shoulder) and forward Rob Hall (knee) all remain sidelined.
Rochdale will have defender Sam Hart back to face Oxford after the defender missed the Accrington game serving a one-match suspension.
Olly Rathbone could be pushing for a start after recovering from an injury after not making an appearance for a month.
The midfielder was an unused substitute against Accrington and Shrewsbury but could feature against Oxford.
Rochdale manager Keith Hill has reported he has a healthy squad ahead of the match.
