River Plate and Boca Juniors will not play the second leg of the Copa Libertadores final on Sunday night after the clash was once again postponed, with no future date confirmed.
Conmebol president Alejandro Dominguez made the announcement after Boca had earlier requested that the match be suspended.
"The conditions of equality between both teams could not be guaranteed," he said.
"For the good of football we will invite the two clubs to Asuncion to find a new date."
The Argentine media are reporting that the final could be rescheduled for Saturday December 8.
