Preston will be without Sean Maguire and Daniel Johnson for the Sky Bet Championship clash with Blackburn.
Forward Maguire sustained a hamstring injury during the Republic of Ireland’s draw with Northern Ireland and is unlikely to play again until January while midfielder Johnson was due to see a specialist about a thigh problem.
Midfielder Alan Browne has been struggling with a shoulder issue but will be available, while Billy Bodin and Josh Harrop (both knee) are long-term absentees.
Manager Alex Neil must decide whether to bring back Chris Maxwell in goal following his one-match ban, with Declan Rudd keeping a clean sheet in his absence.
Blackburn are boosted by the return of Charlie Mulgrew and Derrick Williams.
Skipper Mulgrew has not featured since the end of October after suffering a rib injury that caused damage to his liver, while fellow defender Williams sat out the last game due to a knock.
Harrison Reed will also be fine to feature after he suffered a knock that forced him off at half-time of the draw with Rotherham before the international break.
Dominic Samuel, Ben Gladwin (both knee) and Jacob Davenport (thigh) remain sidelined for Rovers.
