Lyle Taylor banned as Charlton welcome Bristol Rovers

Promotion hopefuls Charlton must do without leading scorer Lyle Taylor for the visit of League One strugglers Bristol Rovers due to suspension.
The summer signing, who took his season tally to 12 with a hat-trick in Tuesday’s 5-0 FA Cup win over Mansfield, serves a one-match ban after picking up five yellow cards.
Darren Pratley is also absent after suffering a knee injury in the midweek win and he joins the likes of Josh Cullen, Igor Vetokele, Lewis Page and Jake Forster-Caskey on the sidelines.
However, defender Patrick Bauer played over an hour of that match in his first appearance since September, and he could be involved against Rovers.
The Pirates are likely to bring captain Tom Lockyer and on-loan goalkeeper Jack Bonham back into their starting line-up following the midweek FA Cup exit at the hands of non-league Barnet.
Bonham, who has impressed this season, was ineligible for the cup while Lockyer only appeared as a late substitute – 24 hours after playing the full 90 minutes for Wales in Albania.
Another on-loan player, defender Joe Martin, could also return to the fold but Rovers look set to be without fellow left-back Tareiq Holmes-Dennis once again.
The summer arrival from Huddersfield has featured only once for Darrell Clarke’s men, and having initially been named on the bench in midweek, dropped out ahead of kick-off.
