As reported by Globoesporte, Edison Brittes, the accused, even ordered that part of the mattress that was stained with blood be cut and burned alongside the player's documents.

The young woman who witnessed the assault described that the player was "no longer moving" while in the presence of his daughter Allana.

She also witnessed the moment when one of the guests, who was not arrested, took a meat knife from the kitchen, which was later used in the murder.

The witness told the police that Brittes confessed that he "had killed Daniel Correa, I couldn't stand seeing him in bed with my wife," and demanded that it was said that Correa left the house without saying anything.

Police were told by Eduardo Henrique Da Silva that the intention was not to kill the victim, but everything changed when Brittes saw photos of Correa with his wife.
