New details emerge of Daniel Correa's murder

In what is starting to emerge as a rather horrifically graphic incident, further details have emerged over former Sao Paulo star, Daniel Correa's murder.

The accused, Edison Brittes, had several accomplices on the night in question, and those individuals have revealed further details on what took place on the evening of Correa's death.

Over the course of the weekend beginning on November 10, 2018, Brazilian police arrested three individuals who also participated in the murder.

All of those in question have seen their accounts of the events match up, aside from one, Eduardo, who's testimony has ruined those previously given by his associates.

David William, Silva and Igor Kin all suggested that everybody aside from Edison Brittes remained in the car, yet Eduardo Henrique da Silva admitted that everybody left the vehicle with the intention of merely castrating the victim, not killing him.

This testimony suggested that everything changed when Edison saw the well-publicised images of Correa in bed next to his wife.

"The reality is that all of the men involved arrived with the same objective to castrate Daniel Correa," Brazilian newspaper Globo stated.

"After the assailants verified the house, there was an instruction from Brittes to go and tie Daniel up.

"Edison changed his mind upon seeing the images and he was upset, everybody got out of the car still with the intention of castrating or cutting off Correa's penis, however Edison opened the trunk and beheaded him."

What happened next remains somewhat unclear, although there are suggestions that the Brittes requested that all of his associates in the car help him dispose of the footballer's body, although none were willing to take part.
