Chorley will attempt to reach the FA Cup second round for the first time since 1990 when they host Doncaster.
The National League North pacesetters are likely to welcome back Marcus Carver into their starting line-up.
Carver has scored in every round of the competition so far but was a substitute in their midweek defeat by Bamber Bridge.
Chorley have not won in their last five league outings but still top the table on goal difference.
Doncaster have slipped to ninth in League One on the back of three straight defeats.
They will be without defender Joe Wright who could be sidelined until the new year with an ankle injury.
Goalkeeper Ian Lawlor is back in contention after missing last weekend’s defeat at Charlton with a groin problem.
Boss Grant McCann could shuffle his pack with Alfie May and Ali Crawford pushing for starts.
