Derby will again be without Mason Mount for Saturday’s Sky Bet Championship clash with Aston Villa.
The on-loan Chelsea midfielder sat out the win against Birmingham with an ankle problem picked up in the Carabao Cup defeat to his parent club and has not recovered in time to face Villa.
Duane Holmes filled in on Saturday and is set to keep his place in the starting XI after an impressive full debut.
Martyn Waghorn (hamstring) is a major doubt for the Rams after he was forced off during the weekend’s 3-1 win against the Blues, while Craig Bryson (calf) and George Evans (hip) miss out.
Villa welcome back Birkir Bjarnason for the trip to Pride Park.
The Iceland midfielder sat out Friday’s win against Bolton having suffered a groin problem during the defeat to QPR the week before.
Albert Adomah shook off a knee problem to start against the Trotters and is expected to feature again after doing extra fitness work during the week.
Jack Grealish is one booking away from a one-match ban, while fellow midfielder Keinan Davis is two weeks away from a return to training after a hip operation.
