Jonathan Smith forces draw for Chesterfield

Jonathan Smith’s late headed equaliser spared Chesterfield from defeat by Wrexham but the 1-1 draw extends a 14-match winless streak.
Brad Walker put the Welsh side in front midway through the first half, making no mistake with a penalty after Will Evans had handled in the box.
Wrexham remained on the front foot in the first hour, and Mike Fondop-Talom shot over instead of making the game safe.
The Spireites came to life with efforts from Jerome Binnom-Williams and substitute Levi Amantchi, and it proved the harbinger for a late sucker punch.
The match was in stoppage time when Laurence Maguire put in a great cross from the by-line and Smith raced forward to convert.
