Striker Steven Davies is still pushing to begin his second spell at Blackpool.
The 30-year-old signed a deal until January earlier this month but is yet to make a senior appearance.
Blackpool beat AFC Wimbledon 2-0 at the weekend and boss Terry McPhillips may stick with the same side.
It would mean Liam Feeney having to settle for a place on the bench.
Matthew Lund and Josh Morris remain out for Scunthorpe.
Lund is likely to be out until the end of November with ankle ligament damage while Morris will be sidelined for two or three weeks with a fractured jaw.
Scunthorpe blew a two-goal lead to lose 3-2 at Wycombe on Saturday meaning Stuart McCall could make changes.
Cameron Burgess could replace skipper Rory McArdle after his error gifted Wycombe a winner.
