Double blow for Hearts

Hearts have been dealt a body blow ahead of hosting Aberdeen on Saturday after it was confirmed both Uche Ikpeazu and John Souttar face up to five months out injured.
Defender Souttar has ripped the lining of his hip while striker Ikpeazu requires surgery on a persistent foot injury. Michael Smith’s suspension only adds to boss Craig Levein’s woes ahead of the Dons clash.
However, summer signing Sean Clare is finally in contention to make his debut after recovering from his own foot operation. Marcus Godinho (hamstring) and Jamie Brandon (knee) are upping their recovery work but like long-term absentee Christophe Berra (hamstring) remain on the sidelines.
Aberdeen defender Scott McKenna serves the second of his two-match ban.
Boss Derek McInnes welcomes back Niall McGinn, James Wilson, Stevie May and Scott Wright from various injuries.
Greg Tansey is back in training following his recovery from a groin injury but the match comes too early for him while Frank Ross (back), Tommie Hoban (shoulder) and Mark Reynolds (knee) remain out.
