Mino Raiola refuses to rule out Milan return for Zlatan Ibrahimovic

Super-agent Mino Raiola has opened the door on a possible return for his client Zlatan Ibrahimovic to AC Milan.

Ibrahimovic, 37, is currently plying his trade across the Atlantic with MLS outfit LA Galaxy but has constantly been linked with a move back to the San Siro.

The Swedish star enjoyed two seasons with the Rossoneri between 2010 and 2012, playing 85 matches and scoring 56 goals across all competitions for the Italian club.

And despite making an explosive start to life in the States, scoring 21 goals in 25 matches, the veteran marksman could be on his way back to Europe according to agent Raiola.

"At the moment it's not a possibility, because the conversations we had with the club are not current, but we are prepared to talk," Raiola told Rai Sport (via Goal).

"In any case, now there are finally normal people in charge of Milan and reliable owners.

"I never had problems with the Rossoneri, because quite simply the club was non-existent before now.

"I am not opening the door, nor closing it.

"There is great mutual respect between Ibra and Leonardo. Zlatan had wonderful moments at Milan and left a piece of his heart in Milano, just as he was happy at PSG.

"Zlatan has never asked for guarantees in his career because he knows you earn those in training.

"We would have to understand on what conditions Milan or any other team would want to sign him, though."

Ibrahimovic himself was more reluctant to entertain the circulating rumours, telling TMZ: "There are always rumours. The whole world wants me. It's okay."

The former Manchester United striker gave his characteristically pithy comments but appeared to pour cold water on speculation linking him with a move to Milan.

His former club currently sit 10th in Serie A having beat Chievo 3-1 on Sunday.

Ibra in Milan

Ibrahimovic initially joined Milan on a season-long loan from Barcelona in 2010 with an option to buy at the end of the season, which the club ultimately triggered.

During his time at the San Siro, the former Sweden international played 85 times, scored 56 and provided 24 assists as the club won the Serie A and the Supercoppa Italiana titles.

Ibra was also named in the 'Serie A Team of the Year' for both seasons with Milan and clinched the 'Capocannoniere' for highest Serie A goalscorer in 2011.
