Wesley Fonguck bagged a second-half brace as Barnet ended a four-game winless run in the National League by seeing off Solihull 2-0 at The Hive.
The 21-year-old-midfielder tapped in his third goal of the season after excellent work from Josh Walker on the hour mark.
It was the first goal Solihiull, who went into this game on a four-game winning streak, had conceded in 452 minutes of football in this competition.
Fonguck wrapped up the points, and extended Barnet’s unbeaten home run to five games, in stoppage time after Jack Barham had cut the ball back.
Walker, Fonguck and Dutch debutant Manny Duku had earlier gone close to breaking the deadlock, with the former shooting straight at Solihull keeper Ryan Boot and the latter pair firing efforts off target.
The closest Solihull came was when Adi Yussuf saw a first-half effort tipped over by Barnet keeper Mark Cousins.
