Grimsby boss Michael Jolley could make more changes for his side’s Sky Bet League Two clash with Port Vale.
Jolley made five changes for the midweek trip to Carlisle and was rewarded as the Mariners ended a run of six straight league defeats.
Captain John Welsh is expected to miss out again with a back injury while Jordan Cook also faces a late fitness test.
Harry Cardwell appeared for the first time this season as a late substitute at Brunton Park but is expected to once again have to settle for a place on the bench.
Vale boss Neil Aspin has to contend with a growing injury list ahead of the trip to Blundell Park.
Manny Oyeleke is set to be ruled out for a number of weeks after suffering a hamstring injury in the midweek defeat to MK Dons.
And Vale are also set to be without Cristian Montano who picked up a knee ligament after coming off the bench against the Dons.
James Gibbons (hip) and Scott Quigley (thigh) are also out, but Tom Pope and Ben Whitfield are expected to shake off knocks.
