Oldham waiting on Sam Surridge
Posted Friday, October 05, 2018 by PA
Oldham hope to have top-scorer Sam Surridge back for their Sky Bet League Two clash with Carlisle at Boundary Park.
Surridge, who is on loan from Bournemouth, missed the last two matches because of a hip injury.
And the Latics were unable to score in the absence of Surridge, who has netted seven times this term.
Midfielder Jordan Lyden is close to making his comeback from a thigh injury that has kept him out all season.
Carlisle midfielder Jamie Devitt is a doubt because of the suspected shin injury sustained against Grimsby on Tuesday.
Striker Richie Bennett and goalkeeper Luke O’Reilly could also miss out because of their respective groin injury and illness.
Forward Jerry Yates returns after serving a two-match ban following his red card for swearing at officials.
Defender Danny Grainger is still some way off returning.
