A late equaliser from Halifax’s Jordan Preston denied Bromley their fourth win of the season.
Bromley led 2-1 going into injury time when Preston met a deep cross at the back post to grab a point for the Shaymen.
The opening goal of the game came from the penalty spot after Junior Ogedi-Uzokwe was bundled over in the box after 13 minutes.
Frankie Sutherland saw his penalty saved as Sam Johnson tipped his effort onto the bar but it fell again to Sutherland who made no mistake on the rebound.
Halifax’s first equaliser came on the hour when substitute Josh Staunton converted a cross at the far post as he headed past goalkeeper Max Huxter.
Bromley made it 2-1 in the 82nd minute with a goal from George Porter who ran onto a cross-field ball from Sutherland and hit a great first-time shot into the net.
Halifax assistant manager Phil Hughes and Bromley boss Neil Smith were both booked in the closing stages, before Preston’s back-post header earned a point for the West Yorkshire side.
