Liverpool news: Steven Gerrard reveals major worry over Reds' Premier League title chances

LIVERPOOL lack the experience to win the Premier League title this season - despite having their best squad for years.
That is the verdict of Liverpool legend and Rangers manager Steven Gerrard.
Jurgen Klopp's side are second favourites with the bookies to win the Premier League for the first time.
Liverpool currently sit top of the table with six wins out of six so far this season.
They are two points clear of reigning champions and much-fancied Manchester City.
Gerrard came close to winning the title at Liverpool under Brendan Rodgers in the 2013/14 season.
He believes the current crop of Anfield stars are better than that squad.
However, the former captain claims they have a similarity in lacking experience when it comes to winning titles.
"I think the only thing they haven't got going for them is that experience," Gerrard told BBC Radio 5 Live.
"Obviously someone who went very close myself I think we lacked that experience as well.
"But I always felt when we were trying to win it I always felt like we were short in certain positions.
"I'm looking now and I can't really find any weaknesses when they're at full strength if they keep everyone fit and healthy.
"I think this is a lot stronger than the team I played in.
"It's been Liverpool's best squad for a very long time."
Liverpool will look to make it seven wins from seven against Chelsea on Saturday (5.30pm).
Klopp's men visit Stamford Bridge having lost 2-1 to the Blues in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday.
