Rochdale boss Keith Hill must decide whether to make changes for the home game against Portsmouth.
Hill named an unchanged starting line-up for last week’s 4-1 defeat at Sunderland, but could opt to freshen up his side.
On-loan Nottingham Forest forward Zach Clough is not yet ready to return following an ankle injury.
Another loanee, Connor Randall, has returned to parent club Liverpool after fracturing his cheekbone.
Portsmouth boss Kenny Jackett could name an unchanged starting line-up but may also make changes.
Jackett has no new injury or suspension problems following last week’s home draw against Wycombe, but his side face eight games in 29 days.
Dion Donohue is still out. The midfielder has yet to feature this season due to illness and injury, but is hoping to return to action early next month.
Winger Andre Green, on loan from Aston Villa, remains sidelined following minor knee surgery.
