Ander Herrera is available for Manchester United’s Carabao Cup third-round clash against Derby following his recovery from an ankle complaint.
Fellow midfielder Nemanja Matic could return after missing the 1-1 draw with Wolves due to suspension.
But forward Marcus Rashford is sidelined as he serves the last of a three-match ban while defender Marcos Rojo (knee) is the only injury absentee.
Teenage full-back Diogo Dalot is in line to start as Jose Mourinho ponders whether to shuffle his pack and give outings to several fringe players for the visit of the Rams.
Derby manager Frank Lampard, who enjoyed some of the finest years of his playing career under Mourinho when the pair were at Chelsea, has no fresh injury concerns.
However, captain Curtis Davies is absent with a hamstring problem that has sidelined him since the opening game of the season.
Midfielder George Evans will also miss out as he recovers from the knee injury he sustained while making his Championship debut for Derby against Ipswich a month ago.
Forward Tom Lawrence will complete his three-match suspension and long-term absentee Marcus Olsson is continuing his recovery from a knee injury.
