Ben Pearson available for Preston’s cup clash with Middlesbrough

Preston midfielder Ben Pearson is back in contention for the Carabao Cup tie against Middlesbrough after suspension.
Boss Alex Neil must decide whether to start with Pearson, who has served a three-game ban following his straight red card in the recent home draw with Bolton.
Full-back Darnell Fisher misses out through suspension as he received bookings in the first two rounds of the competition.
Neil has no new injury problems, but Calum Woods, Sean Maguire (both hamstring) and Billy Bodin (knee) remain sidelined.
Middlesbrough manager Tony Pulis is likely to ring the changes after his side were held to a goalless home draw against Swansea at the weekend.
Pulis has fully utilised his squad in the first two rounds and the likes of Jordan Hugill, Ashley Fletcher and Grant Leadbitter could return to the starting line-up.
On-loan forward Hugill could make his first appearance at Preston since leaving the club for West Ham in January.
Striker Rudy Gestede is still unavailable as he works his way back from a long-term ankle injury.
