Five-star Solihull beat Bromley

Solihull thrashed Bromley 5-0 to condemn the visitors to their fourth successive Vanarama National League defeat.
The hosts were 3-0 up inside 19 minutes. The first came from a second-minute corner from skipper Darren Carter which was met by Alex Gudger, whose powerful header found the net.
They had a second eight minutes later. This time Carter himself got on the scoresheet, picking up Jermaine Hylton’s lay-off before rifling a superb strike into the top corner from 25 yards.
And the goals just kept coming, as Hylton’s 19th-minute strike deflected in off team-mate Danny Wright.
Bromley managed to halt the flow until deep into first-half stoppage time when Jamey Osborne’s cross was turned in via the post by Wright.
It was an improved story after the break for Bromley but Solihull had a fifth in the 75th minute, Osborne bursting forward before sliding in his first of the season to round off the scoring.
Deep into stoppage time, a dampener was put on proceedings for Solihull as Kwame Thomas was shown a second yellow card.
