Bury wait on Neil Danns ahead of Carlisle clash

Midfielder Neil Danns will be monitored ahead of Bury’s clash with Carlisle.

Danns fell awkwardly in the closing stages of last week’s win at Swindon and had to be substituted.

Ryan Lowe’s side are looking for a fourth consecutive league win against Carlisle.

Dom Telford is available after a minor injury, but fellow forward Jermaine Beckford remains sidelined with a knee problem.

Jack Sowerby will hope to start for Carlisle after coming on as an early second-half substitute in the win over Tranmere last time out.

Teenager Liam McCarron made his Football League off the bench in that game and will hope to feature once again.

Defender Danny Grainger is edging closer to fitness following a calf injury but this game may come too soon.

On-loan goalkeeper Joe Fryer is a long-term absentee with a broken leg.
