AFC Fylde climbed up to fifth place in the Vanarama National League after a comfortable 3-0 victory over Aldershot Town.
Fylde went close in the sixth minute when Serhat Tasdemir saw George Legg turn his shot behind for a corner after he was teed up by Danny Philliskirk.
Tasdemir then saw a header from Zaine Francis-Angol’s cross cleared off the line.
Danny Rowe had another shot cleared off the line before Fylde took a deserved lead through Ryan Croasdale. Tasdemir’s cross was not cleared properly and the ball dropped to Croasdale who fired home from 12 yards.
And less than two minutes later they doubled their advantage when Joe Cardle crossed for Tasdemir to head home his first goal of the season.
Fylde wrapped up victory in the 62nd minute when Cardle slid in to turn Rowe’s cross past Legg.
