Keiran Murtagh fires late leveller as Boreham Wood snatch a draw against Barrow

Boreham Wood extended their unbeaten run to five games after a last-gasp equaliser earned a 1-1 Vanarama National League draw with Barrow.
John Rooney’s strike nine minutes from time looked to have won it for Barrow but Keiran Murtagh’s stoppage-time effort denied them.
Boreham Wood goalkeeper Ryan Huddart was forced into an early save when Josh Kay’s cross was flicked on by Burgess but Firth was equal to Rory Holden’s shot.
At the other end, Andy Firth got down well to save a long-range effort from Josh Umerah.
Barrow started the second half strongly and Kay fired narrowly wide before Rooney saw another shot blocked after a flowing move.
And the Bluebirds went ahead in the 81st minute when the ball found its way to Luke Burgess in the area and his shot crashed against the crossbar, with the rebound falling to Rooney, who fired home.
But just as Barrow looked like claiming victory, a stunning volley from Murtagh earned a share of the spoils.
