Havant heap more woe on Hampshire foes Aldershot

Havant and Waterlooville ended a run of three winless games with a 2-1 Vanarama National League victory over Aldershot.
Their Hampshire derby defeat saw Aldershot slip to a fourth loss in the last five games and drop into the bottom four.
Havant went ahead after 26 minutes through a neatly worked free-kick that saw Theo Lewis’ effort from 25 yards go into the net off the legs of the wrong-footed Jake Cole.
The Hawks doubled their advantage seven minutes from time when Paul Robinson headed home his first goal for the club. A free-kick from the left was headed back across goal by Lewis and Robinson popped up to nod home from two yards out.
Aldershot gave themselves a lifeline in stoppage time when a poor clearance was turned back into the danger zone by Dan Holman and Scott Rendell headed home, but they could not force an equaliser.
