Paul Tisdale dejected after MK Dons drop late points at Swindon

Paul Tisdale was left dejected after his MK Dons side were pegged back by an injury-time equaliser to draw 1-1 against Swindon at the County Ground.
The visitors took the lead thorough Joe Walsh in the fourth minute after his stinging volley got them off to a dream start.
However, Swindon have recent history in fighting back from a losing position. They fought back against Tranmere two weeks ago and then were rescued here by Elijah Adebayo.
MK Dons maintained their unbeaten start to the season but Tisdale reckons they should have left with three points in the bag.
Tisdale said: “It is disappointing to lose two points in the last 30 seconds but I am really pleased with how we approached the game today.
“There was a long ball in the box and we probably had too many players going for the header.
“We had numerous breaks through their midfield and came very, very close to three points.
“But it is hard to pick fault, we tried so hard. It is no-one’s fault.
“If I could be cross with someone, I would, but I don’t think there is anyone I can find. We got a point against a good team.”
Swindon manager Phil Brown wants his side to wake up at set-pieces after they had to fight from behind to earn a point.
Brown said: “I’ve got mixed emotions this time, not so much the euphoria of winning 3-2 after the last two home games.
“Before the game, I was going into it thinking ‘we’ve got a 100 per cent record at the County Ground and that will be tested today’.
“But we fall for the same old sucker-punch, that’s the one for me.
“I’ve emphasised since I came into this club that you need to get the first touch from a set-piece, and we’ve just not got the first touch – the first touch has ended up in the back of the net.”
