New Barnsley striker Cauley Woodrow faces a late fitness test ahead of a potential debut in the Sky Bet League One clash with Gillingham.
Woodrow, who joined the unbeaten Tykes from Fulham last week, is a doubt due to a muscle injury.
Full-back Dimitri Cavare could be involved, despite a slight muscle problem, but winger Lloyd Isgrove is still a week away from returning to training.
Midfielder Ryan Hedges, who is yet to feature this season, remains sidelined through injury.
Gillingham will be without injured duo Mark Byrne and Regan Charles-Cook at Oakwell.
The midfielders picked up hamstring problems in last weekend’s draw with Coventry.
Summer signing Josh Rees, who has not featured since his summer move from Bromley, will be involved after overcoming an ankle issue and proving his fitness in a practice match on Monday,
Midfielder Dean Parrett remains unavailable due to a hamstring problem, but teenager Bradley Stevenson could be recalled to Steve Lovell’s squad.
