Leroy Fer to be monitored after long-awaited return

Swansea have no new injury concerns for Bristol City’s visit in the Sky Bet Championship.
Leroy Fer will be assessed following Tuesday’s 2-2 draw against Leeds after starting his first game since rupturing an Achilles in February.
But the Dutchman is expected to start in the Swansea engine room, while Wales Under-21 defender Joe Rodon will be handed another opportunity at the back.
Wilfried Bony has stepped up his rehabilitation after tearing his anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee in February, although the Ivorian striker is not ready to return just yet.
Tomas Kalas is expected to make his Bristol City debut after completing a season-long loan from Chelsea.
The Czech Republic international has extensive experience of the Championship after spells at Middlesbrough and Fulham and his versatility provides Robins boss Lee Johnson with extra defensive options.
Johnson plans to put selection on hold as he has a “few walking wounded” following Tuesday’s 3-0 win at QPR, City’s first of the season.
Midfielder Korey Smith is expected to be sidelined for up to six months after knee surgery.
