Chelsea vs Arsenal
Arsenal took on Chelsea in today’s final Premier League game of the day.
Chelsea came into the game after picking up a 3-0 win vs Huddersfield.
Arsenal, on the other hand, lost 2-0 against Manchester City.
As a result, Unai Emery went into this game without a win as Arsenal boss.
However, things did not start off well for Arsenal as Pedro opened the scoring for Chelsea inside nine minutes.
The Blues quickly doubled their lead when Alvaro Morata fired home on 20 minutes.
Arsenal’s come back & Alonso’s winner
But despite being 2-0 down, Arsenal kept pushing and Henrikh Mkhitaryan pulled one back in the 37th minute.
Mkhitaryan’s goal was quickly followed by a superb Alex Iwobi strike that drew the two teams’ level.
The teams went in level at half-time and it remained 2-2 until the 81st minute.
But Eden Hazard came on in the 61st minute and would set up Marcos Alonso for an 81st-minute winner.
This left Arsenal and Emery winless after two league games.
Arsenal fans react
After a second consecutive loss in the league, Arsenal fans have once again taken aim at a few players.
The duo Arsenal fans chose to target this time was Mesut Özil and Héctor Bellerín.
Ozil was once again accused of being lazy and not working hard enough defensively.
Bellerin, on the other hand, spent much of the game being torn apart by Chelsea’s left-wingers, first Pedro and then Eden Hazard when he came on.
