Hull will look to build on their penalty shoot-out victory over Sheffield United in the Carabao Cup as they search for their first league win of the campaign.
Nigel Adkins’ side have picked up just one point from their opening two matches but will be boosted by the return of two key players against Blackburn.
Centre-back Angus MacDonald came through unscathed in his first match since dislocating his shoulder in the penultimate game of last season, while 21-year-old debutant defender Adam Curry impressed against the Blades. However, Reece Burke is a concern after coming off in the first half with a muscle injury.
Kamil Grosicki is pushing for a start after coming off the bench for his first appearance of the season following his World Cup exertions with Poland, with Jarrod Bowen and Fraizer Campbell set to return after being rested.
Blackburn do not have any fresh concerns for the trip to the KCOM Stadium.
Jacob Davenport (hip flexor) and Ben Gladwin (knee) continue to be absent for Rovers.
Elliott Bennett and Derrick Williams are pushing to return from shin and foot complaints respectively, while striker Danny Graham should be back after being rested for the 5-1 win at Carlisle in the Carabao Cup.
Adam Armstrong and Bradley Dack netted two goals apiece on Tuesday, when on-loan Kasey Palmer opened his account for the club.
