Addai in line for forward role as Cheltenham host Carlisle

Cheltenham are likely to persist with Alex Addai up front as they look for a first point of the season against Carlisle.
Boss Gary Johnson moved the winger into a central striker’s role in the Carabao Cup success over Colchester in midweek and was impressed by his understanding with Kalvin Kalala.
Fellow forward Liam McAlinden could be fit enough for the bench but is rated as touch and go.
Chris Hussey serves the final match of his suspension while Manny Duku (dislocated shoulder) and Sean Long (ankle) remain sidelined.
Carlisle expect Mike Jones to be out for a month or more with a hamstring injury.
The midfielder limped out of last weekend’s draw with Northampton and faces a spell in recovery.
Manager John Sheridan, still chasing his first win at the club, handed Anthony Gerrard a first start in Tuesday’s 5-1 thrashing by Blackburn and is likely to persist in an attempt to build his match fitness.
Captain Danny Grainger should slot back in at left-back after being rested.
