Unbeaten AFC Fylde defeat Solihull Moors to end perfect start

AFC Fylde ended Solihull Moors’ 100 per cent record with a decisive 3-1 win at Mill Farm.
The hosts made the ideal start when Joe Cardle laid the ball off for striker Danny Rowe to fire in from 15 yards.
The crowd was then brought to its feet midway through the first period. There seemed no danger when Andy Bond cleared a loose ball from just past the halfway line, but incredibly it looped over Moors goalkeeper Ryan Boot and under the bar.
Substitute Luke Maxwell made a quick impact in the second half, heading in a corner by Darren Carter to halve the arrears.
However, home substitute Gime Toure clinched victory just one minute after coming on as he converted Zaine Francis-Angol’s parried effort.
