Curtis Tilt could feature in Blackpool’s cup tie with Barnsley

Blackpool defender Curtis Tilt hopes to recover from illness in time for the home Carabao Cup tie against Barnsley.
Tilt, a summer transfer target for Ipswich before last week’s deadline, missed Saturday’s league defeat to Portsmouth, but could return to contention.
Interim boss Terry McPhillips may include new signing Donervon Daniels, who was not involved at the weekend after rejoining the club on a free transfer from Wigan last Thursday.
Jimmy Ryan (knee) and Ryan McLaughlin (hamstring) both remain doubtful, but John O’Sullivan, Mark Cullen and Armand Gnanduillet are pushing for recalls.
Barnsley pair Victor Adeboyejo and George Moncur could make their first starts of the season.
Forward Adeboyejo has stepped off the bench to score for the Reds in each of their opening two matches and midfielder Moncur made a positive contribution as a substitute in Saturday’s win at Bradford.
Boss Daniel Stendel has reported no new injuries after his side registered back-to-back league wins at the weekend.
New signing Jordan Williams is hoping to make his first appearance for the club after joining from Huddersfield for an undisclosed fee last week.
