Jason McCarthy in line to start for Wycombe against Northampton

Defender Jason McCarthy could make a second Wycombe debut in Tuesday’s Carabao Cup clash with Northampton.
McCarthy was an unused substitute in Saturday’s 3-0 loss at Doncaster which leaves Wanderers without a League One goal in two games this season.
Dominic Gape came off the bench for his first appearance and could be in contention to start, while Michael Harriman is available following his one-match suspension.
Scott Kashket, Nathan Tyson and Darius Charles are continuing to have their respective injuries assessed.
Cobblers midfielder Shaun McWilliams was not risked due to a hamstring problem at Carlisle and missed the 2-2 draw, so could be absent again.
Billy Waters returned off the substitutes’ bench and could play a further part.
Junior Morais could also feature if manager Dean Austin decides to shuffle his pack.
Northampton are seeking a first win of the season, following the opening loss to Lincoln and draw at Carlisle.
