Ameobi doubtful for Bolton because of hip injury

Bolton could be without winger Sammy Ameobi for their first home match of the new Sky Bet Championship season against Bristol City.
Ameobi was forced off five minutes into the second half of the Trotters’ victory over West Brom last weekend with a hip problem.
Striker Clayton Donaldson missed the victory over the Baggies because of a minor groin strain and could again be struggling.
It was a frustrating deadline day for boss Phil Parkinson as Bolton failed to add to their ranks but defender Marc Wilson could make his debut after being released by Sunderland.
City were busy in the transfer window on Thursday and left-back Jay Dasilva should make an immediate debut.
The on-loan Chelsea youngster is likely to slot straight in as a replacement for Joe Bryan, who left the club to join Fulham.
City will again be without Famara Diedhiou, who serves the second of a six-match ban dating back to a spitting offence last season.
Marley Watkins is back training following a concussion while Bailey Wright was expected to rejoin the squad on Friday after overcoming a thigh problem.
