Liverpool news: Fabinho may not be fit to face West Ham on Sunday
The £43m summer signing from Monaco picked up a knock in the Reds’ 3-1 win over Torino on Tuesday – their final pre-season game.
The Brazil midfielder is understood to have a slight muscle problem and is a doubt for the clash with the Hammers at Anfield.
He left their Melwood training ground yesterday alongside club doctor Andrew Massey to head for tests on the injured leg.
Kop boss Jurgen Klopp was already considering starting Jordan Henderson this weekend despite the England midfielder only returning to training last Sunday.

Fabinho’s injury is likely to increase the chances of the club captain featuring.
Henderson was part of England’s World Cup squad that reached the semi-finals so returned later and came on as a second-half substitute against Torino.
Georginio Wijnaldum could feature in the defensive midfield role either with new signing Naby Keita and James Milner either side.
The Reds are aiming to hit the ground running this season as they look to keep pace with runaway Premier League champions Manchester City.
