Queen of the South battled back from two goals down to secure a 2-2 Ladbrokes Championship draw at Morton.
The hosts went ahead two minutes after the break through Michael Tidser’s fourth goal of the season. Jim McAlister played in Tidser in the left channel and the midfielder took a touch before clipping a fine shot across Alan Martin and into the net.
Morton doubled their advantage in the 63rd minute when Bob McHugh sent Ross MacLean through one-on-one and he made no mistake in driving the ball beyond Martin.
Queen of the South got themselves back into the game just five minutes later when Callum Semple cushioned an effort into the net from Stephen Dobbie’s cross from the right.
And the visitors earned a share of the spoils 14 minutes from time when Josh Todd fired home at the second attempt after Ryan Scully had blocked his initial shot.
