Emre Can: Why I chose Juventus ahead of Liverpool and "a lot" of rival offers

Emre Can has revealed his reasons for joining Juventus, suggesting the move was not due to a clash with his former Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp.
The German midfielder recently completed a free transfer to the Italian giants from Liverpool.
Can, who was left out of Germany's doomed World Cup squad after an injury-riddled season on Merseyside, was speaking for the first time as a Juventus player and said, via Sky Sports: "I didn't have problems with Klopp.
"I had a very good relationship with Klopp and in the end he wished me all the best."
After putting an end to the speculation around his relationship with Klopp, Can – who played 166 times in all competitions for Liverpool – cited Juventus' "big project" as one of the main reasons why he moved to Turin.
The 24-year-old said: "I had a lot of offers from very good teams but I decided to come to Juventus because I think the project is very big.
"They have very big aims and I want to be part of the big project here."
The German international could make his Juventus debut against his former club, Bayern Munich, in the International Champions Cup friendly tournament on July 26.
Can earned a £14m signing-on fee when he moved to Juventus, meanwhile the German looks set to be welcoming fellow new arrival Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid after Juventus secured the services of the forward for £105m.
