Chelsea transfer news: Maurizio Sarri a ‘big fan’ of Juventus star Gonzalo Higuain
CHELSEA are reportedly close to appointing Maurizio Sarri as their new boss and he is said to be a huge fan of Juventus star Gonzalo Higuain.

Higuain was on World Cup duty with Argentina before their elimination to France in the last 16.
But the Juventus foward has still come off the back of a strong season in Italy, netting 23 goals and making eight assists in all competitions.
Sarri and Higuain spent one season together at Napoli before the striker made the £75m switch to Turin.
And according to The Telegraph, the Italian coach is a ‘big fan’ of the 30-year-old.
It suggests the incoming Chelsea boss could swoop for the goalscorer this summer given Alvaro Morata’s struggles last term.
The Spaniard arrived for a club record £60m from Real Madrid last summer but, after making a positive start, his form and fitness began to suffer.
The Telegraph adds that Morata is due for crunch talks over his future when the Blues’ non-World Cup players return for pre-season training on July 9.
Antonio Conte had been hotly tipped to leave Stamford Bridge at the end of season but the 48-year-old remains in charge for the time being.

However, it has been widely reported that he will be replaced by Sarri over the summer.
Negotiations between intermediaries aimed at releasing the coach from his Napoli contract are believed to have progressed over the past fortnight.
