Neymar: Brazil star 'calls' Lionel Messi amid World Cup nightmare with Argentina

NEYMAR has 'called' Lionel Messi after Argentina's World Cup defeat against Croatia last night.
That's according to reports in Spain that say the Brazilian forward has leant his ear to his former Barcelona team-mate.
Messi was unable to have an impact for Argentina last night as they were stunned by Croatia and lost 3-0.
Goals from Ante Rebic, Luka Modric and Ivan Rakitic have left the South American nation on the brink of a humiliating World Cup exit.
Spanish outlet Don Balon, known for their bold claims, say Neymar was quick to try and comfort Messi after the loss.
And with Cristiano Ronaldo starring for Portugal, netting four goals in two games, the Barcelona star is suffering even more.
The reports claim Messi is now supporting Neymar in his quest for the Golden Ball in order to stop his rival from receiving yet another accolade.
The 30-year-old was once again in stunning form for Barcelona as they romped to a La Liga title.
Messi scored 45 goals in all competitions but has been unable to replicate that form for Argentina.

Ossie Ardiles took to Twitter last night after the defeat and criticised the way Argentina have played so far at the World Cup.
He said: "Plan A of Sampaoli. Give the ball to Messi and wait for a miracle.
"If Plan A doesn't work, Plan B. Errr. There is no plan B. Let alone plan C or D.
"Defensively: Make fouls. Wherever it is and regardless of the circumstances, or the consequences."
Neymar is currently in action for Brazil against Costa Rica with the score 0-0 at half-time.
