Alvaro Morata loses football in the sea after attempting keepy-ups on holiday in Sardinia with pregnant wife Alice Campello

CHELSEA striker Alvaro Morata took a dip in the Mediterranean Sea after a one-man keepy-uppy competition went wrong.
The 25-year-old striker is on holiday in Sardinia with his pregnant wife Alice Campello after being left out of Spain's 23-man World Cup squad.

Morata, whose future at Chelsea is uncertain, was kicking a ball around on a promenade when it ended up in the sea.
In his swimming trunks, the former Real Madrid striker jumped in to retrieve the ball.
Morata's break to Sardinia comes on the first anniversary of his wedding to Campello, an Italian model and designer.
Campello, 22, is heavily pregnant with Morata due to become a father for the first time this year.

The break may also offer an escape from the uncertainty at Stamford Bridge.
Morata scored 15 goals in his first year in English football but ended up being second choice after the arrival of Olivier Giroud in January.
He scored just three times after Giroud signed from Arsenal and whether he will still be at the club next season remains to be seen.
Morata joined Chelsea for a club record fee of £60million last summer.
The striker spent most of his career at Real Madrid as well as two years with Italian side Juventus, where he met Campello.
Meanwhile, at Chelsea, it is not only Morata's future that is uncertain at Stamford Bridge.
Antonio Conte is expected to leave and former Napoli boss Maurizio Sarri set to take over but there has been little progress.
Chelsea favourite Gianfranco Zola is expected to join a potential coaching team with Sarri.
