Gonzalo Higuain is set to depart Turin and Juventus have reportedly offered the Argentine, plus 50 million euros, for Inter's Mauro Icardi.
The sports directors of both teams, Piero Ausilio and Fabio Paratici, have allegedly met to negotiate a potential deal between the two parties.
According to Il Corriere della Serra, the Old Lady have commissioned a Turin consultancy to study Icardi's contract, something they already did before signing Miralem Pjanic and Higuain himself.
The Juventus board have been confident that they can strike a deal with the Nerazzurri, despite the complications of such a transfer.
Meanwhile, Higuain's relationship with Massimiliano Allegri hasn't been at its best and the club's vice president Pavel Nedved hasn't denied rumours on a potential exit.
Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain are also after the Argentina international, where he might reunite with either his former coach, Maurizio Sarri or his teammate Gianluigi Buffon.
