Mbappe hints at future PSG exit

Kylian Mbappe could leave PSG in the future according to the player amid Manchester United links.

The French sensation has been a key part of Paris Saint-Germain's success this season and his performances are naturally attracting the attention of some of Europe's elite clubs.

PSG signed the 19-year-old on a season-long loan deal from Monaco and the club will have to fork out around £166m over the next two years in order to make his move a permanent one.

This could prove to be an issue for the French champions due to financial fair play rules.

During the Parisian's title winning campaign, Mbappe bagged himself 13 goals while registering eight assists in just 24 starts, and he has also been included in the France World Cup squad ahead of the tournament in Russia next month.

It is thought that Manchester United would be keen on bringing the forward to Old Trafford in order to bolster their attacking options, as Jose Mourinho is reportedly interested in signing a marquee player this summer according to the Spanish website Don Balon.

United finished the Premier League season in second, but were a massive 19 points behind their Mancunian rivals and the eventual title-winners Manchester City.

If United are going to try and bring Mbappe to Old Trafford then they can expect to face competition from the likes of Real Madrid.

The player is thought to be happy at the club, but he has not ruled out a move in the future, though he has made no indication that a transfer is imminent.

Mbappe currently has a five-year contract with the capital club after PSG triggered his activation clause earlier in the season, but the Frenchman admits he is unsure about whether he would like to remain at the Parc des Princes for the entirety of his contract.

"I have a five-year contract and I am happy here," Mbappe said (via the Express). "PSG have given me the opportunity to play and develop.

"Next year, I will be here, but all five years of my contract? I do not know. We will see – that is football."
