George Oakley scored a brace as Inverness ended their season with a comfortable 3-0 Scottish Championship victory over Morton at Cappielow Park.
The visitors, who finished just below the play-offs, had the better of the opening exchanges with Liam Polworth firing wide before Iain Vigurs hit the crossbar as they began to boss possession.
Caley’s dominance paid off as they broke the deadlock after 20 minutes with the opener coming from Oakley, who nodded home Polworth’s corner at the near post.
The former AFC Wimbledon youth player doubled his and Inverness’ tally eight minutes before the break as he burst clear down the right and picked up Charlie Trafford’s pass before firing past goalkeeper Conor Brennan at his near post for his 12th goal of the season.
Nathan Austin added a third to seal maximum points after 55 minutes as he tapped the ball into an empty net after his initial effort was blocked by Brennan to leave Morton seventh following a third straight loss.
