Luke Wilkinson will miss Stevenage’s League Two home clash with Exeter.
The 27-year-old defender was sent off in his side’s 3-1 loss at Coventry and starts a four-match suspension.
Club captain Ronnie Henry should continue in defence after signing a new contract, with the 34-year-old already boasting Stevenage’s all-time appearance record.
Chairman Phil Wallace has also increased his stake in the club to 98 per cent, in a busy week off the field.
Ryan Harley remains a long shot for a starting berth despite being fit enough to take a seat on the bench in Exeter’s 2-2 draw with Crawley.
The midfielder had been sidelined for more than a month, but was an unused substitute on Saturday, and could again be named among the replacements as he seeks full sharpness.
Long-term absentees Troy Brown, Jordan Moore-Taylor, Craig Woodman, Dean Moxey and Lee Holmes are still yet to return to training, so will not feature at Stevenage.
Manager Paul Tisdale admitted the five sidelined players may struggle to play again this season.
