A late equaliser from French striker Antoine Griezmann, 27, gave his 10-man side the advantage as the first leg of their semi-final at the Emirates ended 1-1 on Thursday.
He also last month dropped a huge hint he could be on the way to Man Utd.
"That would be beautiful to play alongside you and win trophies,” Atletico Madrid striker Griezmann responded to the suggestion that he could play with Pogba every day on TV channel Canal Plus.
Though the star, who is expected to leave Atletico in the summer, did backtrack slightly, saying: “But be careful. That doesn't mean I want to go to Manchester United."

As rumours circulate, one thing is for certain: stunning wife Erika Choperena will be with him every step of the way in his career.
The Spanish child psychologist married Griezmann last year and the couple have one child together.
It was a stunning secret marriage ceremony in Toledo at the 11th century Palacio de Galiana.
Erika studied education in San Sebastian and used to run a beauty blog called Cordialmente Erika.
She shies away from the limelight and doesn’t own an Instagram page.
Ludivine Sagna, the wife of French international teammate Bacary, described her as "very kind but very discreet”.

Griezmann and Choperena met while the France forward was playing for Real Sociedad and she was studying in San Sebastian.
They began dating soon after, and had their first child in April 2016, a daughter called Mia.
Griezmann admitted in his autobiography that he pursued her before she eventually agreed to go out with him.
He wrote: "For a year and a half, I sent her messages, I tried to seduce her. We have been together since December 27, 2011."
When he joined Atletico Madrid in 2014, Erika moved with him.
