Blackpool vs Shrewsbury Town - Jim McAlister back for Blackpool
Posted Friday, April 27, 2018 by PA
Blackpool’s Jim McAlister is back from a broken leg for the match with Shrewsbury.
The 32-year-old came off the bench in last weekend’s 3-0 win at Gillingham to make his first league appearance in over 14 months.
Loan goalkeeper Joe Lumley has been recalled by parent club QPR following an injury to Matt Ingram.
Defender Kelvin Mellor (ankle) is close to fitness having missed the win over Fleetwood last time out.
Shrewsbury could keep rotating their squad, having missed out on automatic promotion.
They will finish third in Sky Bet League One and named just six substitutes for their 3-1 win over Peterborough last time out.
Defender Toto Nsiala continues to play with a fractured cheekbone, while Stefan Payne has recovered from a groin problem.
Defender Junior Brown and midfielder Abumere Ogogo are long-term absentees.
