Burton waiting on Damien McCrory ahead of Bolton showdown

Burton are hoping Damien McCrory will be fit for their crucial home clash against relegation rivals Bolton.

The left-back is being monitored and has not trained this week after a shoulder injury forced him off during the win at Sunderland.

If McCrory does not make it then a defensive reshuffle could see Ben Turner return to the starting line-up.

Meanwhile, it looks like top scorer Lloyd Dyer will miss the remaining two matches of the campaign with the hamstring injury he sustained against Hull recently.

Bolton arrive at the Pirelli Stadium two points above the drop zone and the same amount in front of Burton, who will be relegated if they lose.

Wanderers will check on the fitness of defender Antonee Robinson (shoulder) and midfielder Filipe Morais (calf).

Both players are nursing injuries following the home defeat to Wolves while Darren Pratley will continue to have his nerve problem managed but will hope to keep his place in the team.

The likes of Josh Vela, Craig Noone, Aaron Wilbraham and Zach Clough are options for Bolton boss Phil Parkinson.
