Adebayo Azeez leaves it late to deliver for Dover

Dover substitute Ade Azeez scored a dramatic late goal to keep his side’s play-off prospects alive with a 3-2 win at home to Gateshead.
The visitors led after 20 minutes thanks to a terrific long-range strike by full-back Theo Vassell.
Giancarlo Gallifuoco levelled for Dover, meeting Mitch Brundle’s corner with a close-range header. The hosts then surged in front when Anthony Jeffrey was tripped by Scott Barrow in the box and Ryan Bird smashed the penalty low into the corner.
Danny Johnson also converted from the spot for following a foul on substitute Richard Peniket, but Gateshead’s joy was short-lived as Azeez netted from close in after Dan Hanford failed to hold Anthony Jeffrey’s shot.
