Tributes have been pouring in for Arsene Wenger since Friday morning's announcement that the Frenchman will leave Arsenal at the end of the season, with Pep Guardiola among those having a say.
The Catalan explained that the French coach has been so influential that he has had an impact on the whole Premier League.
"He is a huge personality," Guardiola said in Friday's press conference.
"The Premier League is the Premier League because of what he has done and his vision.
"I wish him all the best for the future.
"Hopefully he will be involved in a different way in world football.
"It was a pleasure at Barcelona, Bayern Munich and here to compete against him."
Guardiola also spoke about the need for Manchester City to keep working hard, even though the league title is wrapped up.
"In the past when I won the league early, the next few games were not good," he said.
"But a good argument to keep going is the records."
There was also some bad news to deliver, as Guardiola confirmed that Sergio Aguero will miss the rest of the season, with the striker currently in Barcelona to work on recovering from injury in time for the World Cup.
